This Privacy Policy (the Policy) describes how Best Tax Services Ltd collects, uses and shares the information you provide to us and the information we collect in the course of our business.

Introduction

In this Policy, where we refer to "Best Tax" (or "we"/"us"/"our)", we mean Best Tax Services Ltd, its international affiliates and the companies and other entities that are associated with us.
Best Tax is an international accountancy and tax services (professional services) firm based in London. 
We may collect information from you when you request information from us or engage with our professional services, or as a result of your relationship with one or more of our international consultants or otherwise in the course of our business.
References in this notice to “your information” are also to personal information that you provide to us or which we otherwise gather in the course of operating our business.

What Information We Collect

We process personal information which you give us:
• As a client to provide you with professional services.
• Whilst servicing your account through our website, in writing or over the telephone.
• If you request information or assistance from us.

If you apply for a position with us we may collect personal information relating to your past employment, professional qualifications and education, your nationality and immigration/residential status, opinions from third parties about you (such as references) and other details about you which may be gathered during the recruitment process. We may also review publically available information about you on your social media accounts.

Along with any information that you give to us, we collect your personal information from the following sources, including but not limited to:
• such other forms and documents as we may request that are completed in relation to the administration/management of any of our services;
• information gathered through client due diligence carried out as part of our compliance with regulatory requirements; or
• any personal information provided by way of correspondence with us by phone, e-mail or otherwise

• our clients in connection with matters upon which we are or may be instructed (for example where you are a counter party to a transaction or an employee of one of our clients)

In addition to the information you knowingly provide, our website uses Google Analytics cookies to obtain an overall view of visitor habits and visitor volumes to our Website.

• Other Government Departments such as HMRC, Companies House, Probate Registry, Court of Protection or HM Land Registry to fulfil your and our legal obligations.
• Experts and Barristers required to work on your matter.
• Software providers who provide accountancy and tax software; and legal e-signature services i.e. Adobe
• Our Auditors and external assessment bodies to achieve and maintain any Regulatory or Quality Assurance Standards and accreditations which meet our legal obligations and enable us to provide quality professional services to you.

Retention of personal Information and Security  

Your personal information will be retained for as long as required:
• for the purposes for which the personal information was collected;
• as required by data protection laws and any other applicable laws or regulatory requirements.
• We will ensure that the personal information that we hold is subject to appropriate security measures.

We invest appropriate resources to protect your personal information, from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. However, no internet-based site can be 100% secure and we cannot be held responsible for unauthorised or unintended access that is beyond our control.

Your Rights

You have the right to request copies of your personal information. If you think any of the personal information we hold about you is inaccurate, you may also request it is corrected or erased. You also have a right, in certain circumstances, to object to our processing of your personal information, to require us to stop processing your personal information and/or to withdraw your agreement to processing based on ‘consent’, but this does not apply where we have other legal justifications to continue processing your data or an overriding legitimate interest.
